We understand that a gender diverse workforce can attract talent, reduce turnover and can contribute to building trust with clients. We address the societal barriers that women so often have to face while attempting to work and take care of their families by creating an environment that pushes their professional growth while safeguarding their wellbeing. We do this through workforce development programs, inclusive hiring and employee training.
We have built creches in our factories to support the mothers in our workforce. These creches provide medical and educational support to the workers children all throughout work hours. These creches are equipped to provide educational support to workers’ children by way of visual aids, games and exercises. Free medical checkups are provided to all our female factory workers and their children in all our locations.
We are dedicated to ensuring gender equality in the workplace by empowering, supporting and investing in our women. We encourage the professional upskilling of our female workforce by providing free in-house training in areas such as Quality Control and Assurance, Merchandising, Production Management and Sustainability in the New Normal. These courses are available to all those who wish to upskill themselves at any point of their tenure regardless of their prior work and educational experience. Moreover, these courses are personalized to ensure that each individual has the opportunity to learn at their own pace without having to worry about the cost of training or work-life balance.
We commit to create a gender equal space by challenging stereotypes, broadening perceptions and celebrating women’s achievements. By 2022 we aim to achieve an equal men to women ratio in our workforce across our factories and offices. Clearly there is more work to be done, but by achieving this ratio we would have been able to create a space that better illustrates our commitment to equality. We wish to create a space where everyone feels empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work
